Rideleaf Terms of Use
These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Rideleaf, an iOS cycling app that helps you record bike rides, view ride history, and share ride summaries.
By downloading, accessing, or using Rideleaf, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App Store Terms
Rideleaf is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of Rideleaf may also be subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
You can review Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Using Rideleaf
Rideleaf is designed to help you:
- Record bike rides
- View ride history and ride stats
- Display route maps and map snapshots
- Use active ride controls, notifications, and Live Activities
- Create share cards or ride summaries that you choose to share
Rideleaf is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Safety
Always ride safely and follow applicable traffic laws, trail rules, and local regulations. Do not interact with Rideleaf in a way that distracts you from riding, traffic, terrain, weather, or other hazards.
Rideleaf may display ride stats, maps, speed, distance, elevation, goals, and other information, but that information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Rideleaf is not a substitute for your own judgment, safe riding practices, or emergency services.
Acceptable Use
- Use Rideleaf only for lawful, personal cycling and ride-tracking purposes.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
- Do not use Rideleaf in a way that interferes with the app, Apple services, or another person's device or data.
- Do not rely on Rideleaf as your only navigation, safety, emergency, medical, or fitness decision-making tool.
Location, Maps, and Device Services
Some Rideleaf features depend on device permissions and Apple system services, including Location Services, Motion & Fitness, Apple Maps/MapKit, Media Player/Apple Music, notifications, Live Activities, and the iOS share sheet.
If a permission or Apple service is disabled, unavailable, inaccurate, or interrupted, some Rideleaf features may not work as expected.
Ride Data and Sharing
Rideleaf stores ride history and related app data locally on your device as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you choose to share ride cards, images, captions, or summaries, you are responsible for the content you share and the destination you choose.
No Account or Paid Services
Rideleaf currently does not require an account, subscription, or in-app purchase. If paid features are added in the future, any purchase terms will be presented where required by Apple and applicable law.
Intellectual Property
Rideleaf, including its name, design, software, interface, icons, and related materials, is owned by Rideleaf or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Rideleaf to you.
Disclaimer
Rideleaf is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rideleaf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use Rideleaf.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and make the updated Terms available where the app or App Store listing links to them.
